Rakhi fastival celebrated by male female inmates in kaithal Jail

KAITHAL: As per directions of the Director General of Prisons, Haryana, the festival of Rakshabandhan was celebrated at District Jail, Kaithal today. On this auspicious occasion, women relatives tied Rakhi to the male prisoners in jail with their sisters .The female prisoners in jail also celebrated Rakhi with their brothers with in the main gate of the jail.

KAITHAL: As per directions of the Director General of Prisons, Haryana, the festival of Rakshabandhan was celebrated at District Jail, Kaithal today. On this auspicious occasion, women relatives tied Rakhi to the male prisoners in jail with their sisters .The female prisoners in jail also celebrated Rakhi with their brothers with in the main gate of the jail.

The jail administration had made arrangements for Raksha Sutra, Tilak and sweets for the sisters and brothers who came to tie Rakhi. Apart from this, on the auspicious occasion of Rakshabandhan, Jail Superintendent Ashok Kumar congratulated all the prisoners and told that: - “The festival of Rakshabandhan is a symbol of brother-sister love, sisters tie Rakhis on the wrists of their brothers and wish them good future and long life.

And wishes for healthy life and every condition of brother and sisterI promise to protect.”Rakhi was tied to all the prisoners by the jail administration in a very cordial atmosphere. On this occasion, Mr. Surendra Kumar, Deputy Superintendent, Jail, Mr. Naresh Kumar, Assistant Superintendent, Jail, Mr. Baljit Singh, Deputy Assistant Superintendent, Jail and the jail staff were present
