Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School Kapurthala celebrates 'Freshers Party'

KAPURTHALA: Sri Guru  Harkrishan  Public School organised 'Freshers ' Party' cum Teej Celebration in school  premises. On this occasion  the school  also organized  Art Exhibition entitled  -Creativity At Its Best.

Through this activity the students learnt the concept of 4 R’s i.e. Refuse , Reduce , Reuse and Recycle  and skillfully worked through art and craft on ways and means to minimize the amount of waste material produced in daily life. The students  of grade VI-VIII displayed  various articles  made with Paper Mache Technique .The main attractions of the exhibition  was jewellery  items like necklaces, bracelets and bowls made by this technique and flower pots, flower baskets, pen stands, piggy banks, chandlier, envelopes  out of waste plastic material and  old newspapers. The chief guest President  Gurpreet Kaur, school Director Ms.Harniamat kaur, Principal Prabhdeep Monga along with  other guests appreciated the students for their creativity.
