RBU sets up IELTS centre at its campus

MOHALI: Rayat Bahra University has set up IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Spoken English Personality  at Skill Development Centre at its campus here.

Speaking on the occasion, Rayat Bahra University Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra, said that IELTS preparation course at RBU was well structured in order to meet the international standards in the examination. It is designed for students as well as for working professionals as per their requirements. The IELTS course designed and conducted at our centre wouold significantly increase the chances of an individual to score much better in IELTS exam.

Dr Daljit Singh, Vice-Chancellor, expressed the hope that the RBU centre would soon become one of the most preferred institutes for IELTS preparation courses in the region. It would also provide high ranging series of tests and aptitude exercises in order to prepare students to perform their best in IELTS with regard of what is the criterion of their migration.

“The centre focuses on one-on-one interaction with the students in order to help them flair in English as an important language, which also helps in boosting their confidence and uprooting any kind of doubt and hesitation in the student’s mind”, he added.

Dr. Ajay Goyal, Dean, Engineering, said the main strength of RBU IELTS centre is expertise of trainers who help candidates in developing their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. They also help candidates to polish their vocabulary, accent and grammatical knowledge as part of their IELTS training.
