MOHALI: Govind Rai Vashishth, advocate of the Punjab and Haryana High Court and founder of the RV Law Firm, Panchkula, here today called upon law students to build necessary skill sets to excel in corporate world.

During a special lecture to young B Com, LLB students of University School of Law (USL) at Rayat-Bahra University. he said that they should try to comprehend and master the working of the corporate law firms.

Prof (Dr) MS Bains, Dean, USL, who presided over the function, highlighted the objective of holding such special lectures and said that these were organized to help students decipher an array of career opportunities available to them after learning Corporate Law.

Dr Sonia Grewal Mahal, Vice-Principal, USL of the Rayat-Bahra University, underlined that it was important to provide as insider perspective on ‘How does a corporate law firm function’.

Chaitanya Rai Vashishth, Co-Founder, RV Law Firm, motivated the students to attain academic excellence and make a mark for themselves in their profession.

Dr Kirat Grewal, Associate Professor, USL, proposed a vote of thanks. The academic activity was the initiative of USL students Siddharth Tangri, Ashmeet Bhullar, Vandana Wadhwa, Vasu Bansal, members of recently inaugurated Students Activity Club ‘Commerci Leons’ for B.Com.LL.B students.
